NOTHING EVER MATTERS ANYMORE
*NOTE* I'm letting off steam with this post. Don't read if you don't want to hear me ranting. Also, I'm gonna be quite cryptic with this post. Or maybe make it more general so the others can relate it to their own experiences. I'm not involved but I know the story. And I just feel the need to say some things about it.

First, a question: How do you deal with a misunderstanding with someone in your family, or say with a good friend? Note that this someone has a good track record, meaning, he/she had been nothing but nice. What do you do?

Tell me if I'm wrong, but isn't it proper to try and calmly talk to the person in question, verify everything and see if there really is a good reason to get mad at him/her? And even if you do find him/her making a mistake, does it give you any right to spew angry and degrading words, even when the person is asking for apology, and trying to explain everything that lead to the event that you are having problems with? And again, he/she is part of the family. Or maybe a good friend. Would you do that?

I can't. Because familial relationship or friendship matters to me. I will talk to the person without any judgment. Verify everything. Weigh things. See if he/she has good enough reason about the event. Because once I see any sense to why it happened, I will start to understand. And I will start to think of a resolution that would work for the both of us. Because more than anything else, the bond that we have is more important than a petty misunderstanding.

But I can only be myself. I cannot be you or any other person. And true enough, what happened was the complete opposite. Hateful words thrown, making threats, spreading the whole misunderstanding like it's the most important news when it can be easily settled. All that FRIGGIN' jazz! It's like getting a grade of A for MudSling101.

How can people just accuse someone and not hear him/her reason out? How can people easily jump in the bandwagon without knowing the real deal? And how can people be such very good backstabbers?

It's INJUSTICE written all over. And it cuts deep. Very, very deep. Because you guys are family. You guys are friends. Or so I thought.

Nobody deserves this bullshit. I wouldn't even wish it to my worst enemy. I'm all for fairness.

So with the way things are going, it seems that familial bond or friendship is worth nothing. It's okay. It's a choice anyway. Everyone can choose whatever he/she wants to value in life.

It's just disappointing.

So nothing ever matters to you anymore. Oh wait! There is that one thing that does matter to you!

MONEY!
